The UA Cycling Club will be hosting a ride at 10am on MLK Day (Jan. 19th). Please meet the club at the Flagpole just west of Old Main on campus. Plan on riding between 12 and 20 miles. This is a no-drop ride, so we won't leave anyone behind. Unless you're Andy and you start the ride on a flat tire...
The ride will be slow and all beginners are welcomed and encouraged. Depending on the size of the group, we may choose to break the ride up a bit. Helmets are required and please bring a spare inner tube.
See you tomorrow!

The Shootout
This is the route of the infamous shootout training ride, it's just under 60 miles with just over 1800ft of climbing. The ride starts out at a social pace but after Valencia the ride becomes race-pace. I've indicated some options and points of interest for those not familiar with the ride. start times vary depending on the time of the year. You can call Fair Wheel Bikes at 520-321-4372 for the current start time.
Below is a link to the Google Earth file showing the route.
The ride leaves from University Ave. just West of campus on Saturday mornings (6-7:30am)
